Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Alcohol Procurement: Provide a comprehensive list of available alcoholic beverages, including but not limited to beer, wine, and spirits. Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol licensing regulations. 2. Bartending Services: Supply experienced and professional uniformed bartenders who have been trained in both customer service and alcohol awareness. Comply with all applicable laws for service. Set up and maintain a well-organized and aesthetically pleasing bar area. Offer and provide a full range of bar and beverage services at various cost options. Work in unison with University staff when unforeseen issues arise. Flexibility is required. 3. Bar Equipment and Supplies: Provide all necessary bar equipment, including but not limited to dispensers, coolers, and glassware. Ensure an adequate supply of garnishes, mixers, and other related bar supplies. The BCC will provide access to one industrial ice maker. 4. Service Hours: Event Service hours will be specified from the BCC to the Contractor no less than 14 days prior to an event. 5. Insurance and Licensing: Provide proof of $2,000,000 public liability insurance. Provide proof of $1,000,000 liquor liability insurance. Obtain and maintain all required licenses and permits for the provision of alcohol and bartending services. See section 5.18 for additional insurance requirements. 6. Proposed Revenue Sharing: The minimum acceptable percentage for this RFP is 10% of gross receipts produced by all bar and beverage (alcoholic and non alcoholic) sales. The Contractor will be responsible for the management and operation of the bar and beverage concession to ensure adequate and appropriate compensation is paid. The shared revenue payment should be remitted no later than 30 days after the service date. Revenue-sharing payment may be proposed at a higher percentage as long as the higher percentage rate is a factor for the cost of doing business and not a means to pass on the cost to the patron. 7. Training: It is preferred that the awarded Contractor participate in the state’s RVP training.
