General Services department on behalf of Jefferson County Commission desires to enter into a contract with a qualified Contractor(s) for Concessions, Catering & Vending Services to provide vending and/or sales of food and drink products in County Buildings and on County Property to be delivered on an as needed basis. There are six (6) areas for vending sales. Contractors must provide vending for all vending service areas listed in Appendix A (ATTACHMENT). A. Contract shall include, but is not limited to, food machine-vending rights within Jefferson County Facilities located by Areas of Jefferson County as listed in Appendix A attached. Some exclusions apply. B. The contractor shall use the premises for the operation of food vending machines and no other purpose, except as may be provided by separate agreement. C. The County shall make available to the vendor for use in its food vending operation, the specific areas within various County facilities located throughout the County. Specific facility locations and areas within each facility are subject to change as the need of each facility varies. General Services may choose to add or delete machines as required. D. The snack areas shall be available at all times for food vending machine services. Vendor is to provide similar type product (i.e. drink, juice, snack, or food item) of machine and the quantity of machines currently present at County facilities per Appendix attached. E. Commission checks must be paid to Jefferson County utilizing paper checks. Up to 7 checks must be provided each month dependent upon vending machine locations. Jefferson County does not accept ACH deposits.
