All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Supplier to provide, at a minimum, weekly deliveries of inmates’ canteen orders to each of the Department’s twenty-six (26) facilities. Deliveries must take place during normal business hours. Supplier to make direct deliveries. Supplier’s use of carrier service or third party is prohibited. B. Supplier must maintain an adequate inventory of items to be specified for the service to ensure orders are filled on a weekly basis by the Supplier with no more than five percent (5%) of the specified items being out of stock. C. Supplier must use an automated ordering system to receive and process inmate orders. D. Supplier to provide and maintain any hardware and software that is required to fulfill and deliver weekly canteen orders to ADOC inmates. E. Supplier’s products, containers, and packaging must be pre-approved by ADOC before the products are made available to the inmate.
