CISM Training Supplier to Provide Two (2) Instructors to conduct Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Training for up to 30 trainees over a total of 4 Days for Group and Individual Training. To be held in Montgomery, AL (specific location TBD) Dates: December 2 - 5, 2024 Four Day Group and Individual Training to include: 2-day Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) - Assisting Individuals in Criss A course of "Initial Peer Support Training" / CISM that is intermixed with additional wellness topics for new Peer Support members. Designed to prepare the student to provide Peer Support and CISM interventions during individual or "1 on 1" interactions. 2-day Critical Incident Stress Management - Group Crisis Intervention A course of CISM to prepare the Peer to provide CISM interventions of Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD), Defusing, Crisis Management Briefings (CMB), Strategic Planning and other strategies useful in Group situations. Courses to be designed for First Responders and Mental Health Professionals who assist other First Responders and their families in dealing with job-related Stress and Trauma. Both courses to discuss the need for appropriate follow-up services and referrals post-incident, Instructors must be approved from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).
