Notice of Sources Sought and Request for Information and Quote
Agency: U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone in support of the U.S. Army Garrison - Redstone (USAG-R) is conducting market research to obtain capability information and quotes in support of the ongoing maintenance and service for existing MFD’s in the Garrison.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS – This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Solicitations are not available at this time, and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
SUBJECT: Procurement of a Service Contract for Printer Maintenance for the Directorate of Information Management Office (IMO), U.S. Army Garrison-Redstone, Redstone Arsenal, AL
The US Army Garrison, Directorate of Directorate of Information Management Office (IMO), has a requirement to provide multi-functional device (MFD) ongoing maintenance and service for existing MFD’s in the Garrison. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with a Period of Performance from 17 Dec 2024 to 29 September 2025. This contract provides Pinter Maintenance Services for Redstone Arsenal in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Special Requirements: The Contactor will be required to ensure parts and supplies are warehoused locally within 20 miles and delivered by local personnel as ordered. No shipping of supplies or parts to locations. The Contractor shall be able to provide an on-site service response time within 90 minutes of notification unless coordinated with the COR at the time of the service call.
See FAR: 26.202-1 Local area set-aside. The contracting officer may set aside solicitations to allow only local firms within a specific geographic area to compete (see 6.208).

Capability Statements in Microsoft Word or PDF format are requested by 5 November 2024 by 4:00pm CST (Central Standard Time). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail only to the Points of Contact provided above. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
