Due to the nature of this training equipment and its installed location, the selection criteria for all submitted responsible sealed bids will be based on facility compatibility, camp curriculum, as well as pricing.
Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. Additional documentation includes Certificate of Insurance, Alabama Vendor Disclosure statement, Business License, and Vendor W9 form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission d/b/a U.S. Space and Rocket Center at the office of Sam Mitchell, Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805 until Friday 4/25/25 at 2:00pm CST. At which time and place, each seal bid will be publicly opened and read into the record.
You may also submit your seal bid to the Director of Procurement, prior to public bid opening by coming in person to the Administration Entrance located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805. You may also mail your sealed bid using a reliable & trackable delivery method to U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805 postmarked by the time and due date shown.
Electronic bid submission will also be accepted at samm@spacecamp.com provided they are received by the time and due date shown.
