Description

The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks qualified firms to submit a Public Sealed Bid for a Temporary/Transportable Paint Booth for Aircraft.
Scope:

Interior minimum dimensions of the booth shall be no less than 116’(L) x 76’(W) x 22’(H).
Booth shall be constructed of PVC or like light weight material for ease of transport.
Booth shall be designed with the ability to secure to the ground with ballast or similar weighted options.
Booth shall come with the ability to support interior lighting.
Booth shall include two pedestrian entrances.
Booth shall include an equipment entrance no less than 60’ wide.
Booth shall include a minimum of two fresh-air ports for circulation.
Proper number of anchoring materials (ballast, sandbags, etc.) shall be included
All storage containers for booth when not in use, shall be included
Delivery date must be no later than April 16th, 2025.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Sealed Itemized Bids must be submitted on official vendor letterhead. Additional required documentation includes the Alabama Vendor Disclosure Statement, and Vendor W9 form.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission d/b/a U.S. Space and Rocket Center at the office of Sam Mitchell, Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, at the ETF Building 1st Floor, Room #109, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805 until Tuesday 01/14/25 at 2:00pm CST. At which time and place, each seal bid will be publicly opened and read into the record.
