Description

The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks sealed bids from qualified firms to Initiate a contract for rental and cleaning of linens, and other facility related items. Due to the Alabama State rules all annual service contracts must be renewed on a manual basis. A 1-year contract will be issued for FY 2024 with the option to renew it for two additional years. Please bid on each item listed below separately, with prices to include laundering, repair and/or replacements as needed. Selected Bidder will provide exact items specified as indicated; no substitutes unless approved in advance.

Scope of Work:

Provide weekly pickup services that includes laundering, maintaining, upgrading, and replacements as needed.
Multiple pick-up locations facility wide for all rental items.
Provide and maintain custom logo branded interior and exterior all-weather floor mats.
Quote cleaning and sanitizing services for U.S. Space & Rocket Center provided twin size pillowcase, flat and fitted sheets, Blankets. Upon return to the facility all bedding must be individually wrapped and packaged as a set including (1) flat sheet (1) fitted sheet and (1) pillowcase (1) Blanket.
Provide kitchen linens for multiple food service locations on campus.
Provide and maintain inventory stock of all identified rental items as needed.

Please make sure the submitted bid summary includes pricing for each year separately. Starting with FY2024 and ending FY2026. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center starts each year on October 1st and ends on September 30th. Make sure you prorate your bids for FY24, keeping in mind that the first-year contract will only be 11 months. All submitted bids will be judged on the Overall Cost of Ownership for the complete three (3) contract.

Bids submitted must include Certificate of Insurance, E-Verify, Al Vendor Disclosure statement, Alabama License, and company W9 form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
