Specifications include, but are not limited to: Parks & Recreation Security Services -. All personnel shall have at least twenty-four (24) months of experience in municipal, state,federal, or military security work or thirty-six (36) months experience in the private sector.Experience in municipal, state, federal, or military security work means formal trainingrecognized by the appropriate agency through the award of a police or guard-relatedoccupational specialty code (AFSC or MOS in the case of the military), the issuance of abadge, and primary uniformed service in that specialty for a minimum of twenty-four (24)months. State or Federal police, guard, municipal police, or Sheriff s Department experienceis acceptable. In the case of the military, documentation of service in a police-relatedspecialty code is mandatory . Military basic training, a security clearance pertaining tosafeguarding classified information, or occasional tours on guard duty do not meet the intent of this experience requirement. Combat duty, weapons training and perimeter or storagesite guard duty in a non-police capacity/specialty also does not meet the requirement. TheContractor agrees to provide proof of experience for each employee within ten (10) days ofthe award of the contract. All personnel must be State-licensed in accordance with 13 AAC60.110-13AAC 60.900 and Alaska Statute 18.654.400-18.65.490. After the contract periodbegins, the Contractor shall not make any subsequent assignments of personnel to theparks without first providing proof of required experience. All guards shall have currentcertification in First Aid, CPR and AED training. The FNSB shall allow 30 days after awardof the contract for all security officers to obtain the required certifications in First Aid, CPRand AED training
