The Municipality of Anchorage (Municipality), Anchorage Health Department (AHD) seeks to provide grants to selected applicants who will acquire, rehabilitate, or construct capital projects for the purpose of providing housing for low- and moderate- income persons, including persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Funding to be allocated comes from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs, including the special allocation through the American Rescue Plan Act known as HOME-ARP. Projects must be in accordance with HUD CDBG and HOME requirements (24 CFR Parts 570 and 92), as modified by the HOME-ARP Implementation Notice for HOME-ARP funds.
