Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2 Requirements The awarded Contractor will be required to do the following: 1. Provide three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for every client each day at locations designated by AHD. At least 1 meal per day must be hot. 2. Coordinate meal ordering and delivery with designated locations and contractors and complete order forms as required by AHD. Shelter operator contractors will place the next day’s order with the food services contractor by an agreed upon time daily. 3. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the preparation and handling of food and shall procure and keep in effect all necessary licenses/permits in a prominent place within the meal preparation area as required. 4. Food standards must be in accordance with CFR Title 7, Subtitle B, Chapter II, Subchapter A, Part 226, Subpart E, 226.20 (Attachment B). 5. Accommodate dietary restrictions related to a Client’s medical needs as communicated by the shelter operator contractors when placing orders.
