¾ Helmets: Shall be open face that are: • Snell approved and law enforcement specific • Black visor with gold rank band and gold “P” buttons attached to the left and right of the visor • Painted in royal blue and tan in a “high-rise” paint scheme configuration to match the provided sample. Paint shall be of high quality with acrylic enamel-based paint with a scratch resistant clear coat. All exterior logos, insignia, etc. shall be removed prior to painting the helmet (including any DOT or Snell affixed stickers). If the DOT and Snell sticker is required for sale, they shall be installed after the helmet is painted to specs and on top of the clear coat, not under.
