The Contractor shall: 2.1. Provide Palliative Aide Training in a two (2) day in-person course that will be utilized in educating ADRR staff in a correctional setting. 2.2. Provide train-the-trainer course and materials. 2.2.1. Attend virtual meeting with trainers two (2) weeks after the training to follow up. 2.3. Training 2.3.1. Day One (1) focus on the body to include but not limited to: 2.3.1.1. Provide a virtual dementia perspective; 2.3.1.2. Present on the importance of dining; 2.3.1.3. Assist with methods to assist with engagement; 2.3.1.4. Provide staff skills and knowledge to comprehend the person ability to process information; 2.3.1.5. Produce an indirect method to maximize independence for upper body activities of daily living; and 2.3.1.6. Demonstrate hand under assistance techniques; 2.3.2. Day Two (2) focus on mind, spirit, and community to include but not limited to: 2.3.2.1. Mind 2.3.2.1.1. Demonstrate techniques and exercises to stimulating the mind; 2.3.2.1.2. Provide skills to encourage a healthy routine; 2.3.2.1.3. Demonstrate an approach for engaging all senses; and 2.3.2.1.4. Present rejuvenating and relaxation skills 2.3.2.2. Spirit 2.3.2.2.1.
