A. Property Acquisition 1. Plan, organize and complete the acquisition of properties needed for City projects. 2. Examine legal documents, property descriptions, maps and plans. 3. Visit sites, coordinate services for appraisal firms, and obtain and manage appraisal services. 4. Review offers to purchase, negotiate acquisitions, and handle related acquisition activities. 5. Prepare necessary documentation and close acquisitions. B. Relocation 1. Plan, organize and complete occupant relocations per the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisitions Act (URA). 2. Provide relocation advisory assistance and payments to displaced persons. 3. Inspect replacement dwellings for compliance with housing standards. C. Brokerage Services 1. Market and facilitate the sale or lease of City-owned properties in accordance with City policy 2. Prepare listings, bid packages, and coordinate showings 3. Gather and coordinate due diligence materials. 4. Review and evaluate offers, negotiate sales and leases, and close transactions. 5. Provide property management services for City properties when needed. 6. Land inventory
