Provide road sweeping services. i The Independent Contractor will provide a pick-up broom and operator to provide sweeping services on County roads to remove ice control cinders. ii Services will be primarily in the spring and summer months to remove cinders from the winter snow season. On occasion, services may be needed between snowstorms to remove cinders. iii Payment is per hour, and will include all labor, equipment and materials to perform the work. The quantity will vary from 100 to 300 hours per year. iv The County will provide: Traffic control and shadow vehicles, when required and a sweeper emptying location. Provide sidewalk sweeping services. i. The Independent Contractor will provide a pick-up broom and operator to provide sweeping services on approximately 5.0 mile of 4 feet wide concrete sidewalks. The sweeper should be shut down when passers-by are encountered and resume when they pass. ii. Services will be primarily in the spring or summer months to remove cinders from the winter snow season. On occasion, additional sweeping services may be requested by the County. iii. Payment is per hour, and will include all labor, equipment and materials to perform the work. The quantity will vary from 20 to 200 hours per year. iv. The County will provide: Sweeper emptying location.
