Design Load of A-8, 8,000 lbs. transferred through a 10" x 10" steel plate centered on the cover and body. b) Complaint with AASHTO. Design Load of H-20; ASTM C 857 12a. Design Load of A-16, 16,000 lbs. transferred through a 10" x 20" steel plate centered on the cover and body. c) This product is designed to withstand H-10 and H-20 loading in non-deliberant or incidental traffic areas. All Manufactures or Manufacture’s representatives must provide test results from an approved outside lab at their own expense. B.2.1 Polymer Meter Box: a) The meter box shall be black and constructed out of a Polyethylene material blend for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The Polyethylene material blend shall have a tensile strength greater than 1700 psi.
