Educational workshops should include: Avoiding predatory lending, common credit problems, delinquency, and foreclosure Creating and maintaining a realistic budget Preventative maintenance procedures Energy efficiency and strategies to reduce monthly expenses Resources for home repairs and improvements such as home equity loans and refinancing options Understanding property taxes and insurance.
