Specifications A. Preparation a. Move any existing furniture. b. Remove nails and fill holes, and fill small nicks and dings in walls, trim, and doors as needed. c. Remove and tape off all wall outlets and light coverings. d. Scuff sand trim for better adhesion of new paint as needed. e. Cover and protect surfaces not being painted using paper or plastic drop cloths. f. Caulk door frames as needed. B. Completion a. All painted areas must be clean upon completion of work. 1. Supplier is responsible for removing all materials used during painting, including but not limited to drop cloths, brushes, rollers, and cans. b. All furniture and flooring is to be free of paint spills and droplets. Should spillage occur, the supplier is responsible for cleaning all traces of spillage or covering the cost of replacing damaged carpet, flooring, or furniture. C. Areas to be Painted a. Walls in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and kitchens, ceilings, closets (excluding shelving), baseboards, window sills, doors, and door frames. D. Paint Product a.
