Looking Back at 2018!
With 2018 quickly coming to a close, BidNet Direct would like to take the time to recap what a great year it’s been. We are continuing to grow year after year, and are very excited to be able to bring the benefits of our continued expansion to our customers. Here are some quick highlights:
• Nearly 75 NEW participating local government agencies
• Over 10,000 newly registered vendors
• Nearly 20,000 opened solicitations
All of our Purchasing Groups are continuously looking to add new agencies and vendors! In fact, in 2018 the MITN Purchasing Group joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System and the Empire State Purchasing Group as members of our 200 club! That’s over 200 local government agencies posting their solicitation in each of these regional Purchasing Groups!
While maintaining the highest level of support that both our vendors and agencies have come to expect, BidNet Direct also managed to launch 19 new regional purchasing groups! By adding these new purchasing groups, the platform appeals to a whole new demographic of vendors, leading to new vendors registering in all of our purchasing groups. BidNet Direct is now home to 40 regional Purchasing Groups with bids available for vendors from local government agencies throughout 41 states.
In addition to adding new Purchasing Groups, the BidNet Direct platform has also added a host of new features in 2018 for our buyers and vendors. BidNet Direct takes the feedback from our customers very seriously. After listening to the needs and wants of our customers, we’ve taken steps to add more functionality and adjust to your needs. We believe these features will help streamline your purchasing process more than ever! Some of these new features include:
• Courtesy Email feature to select additional vendors to alert of solicitations
• Contract Management single sign on additional enhancements
• Bid Evaluation updates and improvements
• Updated printing capabilities of most pages & reports
• Addendum Tab added to solicitation page for vendors to easily view
BidNet Direct had one of its greatest years in 2018, and that was only possible with the help of all of our current active agencies and vendors.
