Selected qualified firms shall provide on-call construction management consulting services that may be requested by the City during the term of this agreement in a prompt, professional, and workmanlike manner in accordance with the standards of the engineering profession. All work, unless otherwise specified, shall be performed on a time and materials basis, and completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer within the time periods allocated, or as mutually agreed to at the beginning of the assignment.
Services may include construction inspection of Capital Improvement Program project and/or improvements associated with private land development, construction management of Capital Improvement Program projects and/or improvements associated with private land development, and other tasks associated with Public Works infrastructure construction, and/or operation as assigned and directed by the City Engineer.
Knowledge of Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual and Guidelines is required. Knowledge of Caltrans Standard Plans, Specifications and experience with full PS&E preparation is required.
