Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, and specialized skills to perform work involved in the Project. The work shall be done in accordance with Specifications No. 3829 and Plan Nos. 1-3071, 3-1572, 4-649, 4-650, 18-114, 49-247, 50-638, 50-639, 50-648, 50-672, 50-673, 50-698,50-699, and 70-113, and all appurtenant work as shown on the project plans and specifications, Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (2021 Edition), and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2021 Edition), including all supplements thereto issued prior to bid opening date.
The scope of work generally includes the following:
Surface grinding and placement of ARHM; surface grinding and placement of ARHM over Asphalt Rubber Aggregate Membrane (ARAM); selective removal, repair, and reconstruction of damaged curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveways, cross gutters, alley aprons; modification and reconstruction of curb ramps to meet current ADA standards; adjustment of existing manholes and water meters to finished grade; removal and replacement of existing traffic striping and pavement markings; installation of new bicycle lanes (class II) and protected bicycle lanes (class IV); removal and replacement of sanitary sewer main line; installation of new sewer main line; construction of manhole structures; removal and replacement of catch basin surface grates with bicycle friendly surface grates; realignment of intersections; planting of new street trees; modification of existing traffic signals; installation of new signalized bicycle crossings, pedestrian hybrid beacons, and traffic signals; installation of fiber optic infrastructure; installation of creative crosswalks; installation of reflective pavement; installation of new bio-retention facilities; and installation of drywells.
