The project consists of design and construction of a new one-story library structure (6,845 max S.F.) and a new community space structure (approx. 2,100 S.F.), associated exterior site improvements (including parking and mix of outdoor uses), equipment, and furnishings. The project is to be constructed on an empty parcel of land (approximately 2-acres) located in the city of Larkspur, CA.

The library building structure shall include, but not limited to, admin and public spaces, archive, collections, multi-purpose, reading space, children’s programing, and public restrooms. Some spaces may be flexible and shared with the community space building structure.
The community space building structures shall include, but not limited to, meeting rooms, food prep area, AV/Data closets, and storage space. Some spaces may be flexible and shared with the library building.

Specific details, requirements, and room data space program, for the library and community space shall be defined in the RFP.
