336 - LOS OSOS PHASE I CONTRACT - CIP 336

Bids shall be submitted in writing on the Proposal forms provided by the AGENCY. The Proposal must
include all pages of the Proposal form with all of the required information, including but not limited to the
Bidder's Information, Proposal Bid Sheets, List of Subcontractors, Bidder's Statement of Past Contract
Disqualifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Bond, Iran Contracting Act Certification (if required), and
Sufficient Funds Declaration. The AGENCY will not consider any proposal not meeting these
requirements.
In addition, the AGENCY shall not accept any bid or enter into any contract without proof of the Bidder’s
current registration to perform public work under Labor Code Section 1725.5; and the Bidder shall not
accept any sub-bid or enter into any subcontract without proof of the subcontractor’s current registration to
perform public work under Labor Code Section 1725.5.
Each bidder must review the plans and specifications in its capacity as a contractor prior to submitting its
bid, and any errors must be reported to the AGENCY.
2. PROPOSAL GUARANTEE (BID BOND)
Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee consisting of a certified check or bid bond payable
to the AGENCY in the minimum amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. Any proposal not
accompanied by such a guarantee will not be considered. If a bidder to whom a Contract is awarded fails
or refuses to execute the Contract Documents or furnish the required insurance policies and bonds as set
forth in those documents, the proposal guarantee shall be forfeited to the AGENCY. The proposal
guarantees of all bidders will be held until the successful bidder has properly executed all Contract
Documents.
