Description

The City of Santa Clarita (City) is located in the center of the Santa Clarita Valley, approximately 35 miles northwest of the City of Los Angeles. The City is bounded by the Golden State Freeway (I-5) to the west and the Antelope Valley Freeway (SR-14) to the east.

The annual overlay and slurry seal programs are an integral part of the City’s pavement management program. The City’s overlay and slurry seal program operates on a Five-Year Pavement Management Plan cycle. Each year, streets are studied to identify the need for overlay or slurry.
