Description

Demolition of the existing cantilevered concrete portion of the surge pit, replacement of the metal grating and ladder with reinforced fiberglass components, removal of the existing pump, pump motor, and impeller shaft (saved to City as owner), and replaced with a new PENTAIR pump, disassembly and relocation of existing plumbing components, repairs to the pit wall cracks, and a waterproof sealer applied to the entire surge pit. Demolition of existing plaster and pool tiles, repairs to the grabrail steps, gutter grates replacement, gutter flow line adjustment, new pool plaster, and a 14-day plaster brushing and chemical water balancing.
