PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Santa Fe Springs as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the above-stated project and will receive such bids in the City Clerk’s Office, City of Santa Fe Springs, 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs, California 90670, until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Bidders or their authorized agents are invited to be present for the opening of bids.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans and Specifications. The general items of work include but are not limited to, drainage enhancements, improved parking layout, new sidewalks, irrigation, asphalt concrete pavement, striping, and signage. Little Lake Park will remain open to the public during the North and South Parking Lot Improvements Project. In an effort to maintain park patron activities, one parking lot in its entirety must remain open. The Contractor will 100% complete the South Parking Lot Improvements prior to starting the construction of the North Parking Lot Improvements.
There will be no pre-bid meeting for the project. Submissions of written questions in regard to the project are encouraged, and the CITY will determine if a response is warranted. Response to written questions will be in the form of a CITY-issued Addendum as identified elsewhere in the Specifications.
