Description

The City of Shafter is currently seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional design, engineering, and permitting services for a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network project to connect and serve all residents and businesses within the city core area and some of the surrounding unincorporated areas where the city provides services. Although an elevated level of emphasis is placed on providing service to unserved and underserved areas of the city, the overall goal is to build a network that can serve all residents, businesses, and anchor institutions within the core city and some surrounding unincorporated areas.
