PW2025-01 - Purchase of Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles

The City intends to purchase up to two (2) plug-in hybrid electrical vehicles that qualify for partial grant funding through the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Public Benefit Grants Program. The list of approved vehicles is included with this Notice to Bidders. Should vehicle availability be limited, the City will accept bids for one or two vehicles. Based on the bidding outcome, City staff will either request the City Council to approve the purchase of one or two vehicles or reject all bids due to inadequate funding. In addition to the approved list of Passenger Car "Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles", the City requires the following criteria: 

• Condition of Vehicle: New or Used with Mileage Less Than 36,000
• Exterior Color: White, Silver or Gray
