Description

The primary purpose of this RFP is to form a partnership with a firm to perform grant identification/tracking for the City of Tulare. The city’s desires to enter into a one-year agreement with the city’s option of extending the agreement through a maximum two additional one-year extensions.

The City of Tulare desired not to pay a “Needs Analysis” or equivalent fee, nor purchase “grant tracking software”, but rather a monthly fee for services provided.    Our expectation is that through this agreement the successful firm will learn the needs of the organization and have a business process to track grant opportunities.

Secondary goals of this RFP is to understand offerings of the selected firm to optionally perform grant consulting and grant proposal development on a as needed ad-hoc basis.   There is no guarantee that any grant consulting or proposal development services will be utilized as a result of the RFP. The City reserves the right to use other procurement methodology for grant consulting, proposal development, or grant administration if determined that it is a better fit for a specific grant.

1. All responses must be received by Tuesday December 19th 2023 4:00pm.

1. Responses should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward, concise description of provider capabilities to satisfy the requirements of the request. Special bindings, colored displays, promotional materials, etc. are not desired. Emphasis should be on completeness and clarity of content.
