RFQ-23-24-59 - PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS TO BID ON VISALIA CIVIC CENTER PROJECT, PHASE 2

Request for Qualification of Contractors to bid on a Forthcoming Public Works Project:  City of Visalia Civic Center, Phase 2
Notice is hereby given that the City of Visalia has determined that all prospective bidders on the City of Visalia Civic Center, Phase 2 project to be undertaken by the City must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a competitive bid proposal as part of a future Request for Bids (RFB).  In order to participate in the Request for Bid (RFB) phase of this Project Contractors must be deemed "prequalified" by the City. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.
RFQ-23-24-59 is being distributed with the intent to pre-qualify general contractors for construction of the City of Visalia's Civic Center Phase 2.  
The project consists of a City Council Chamber building, a Public Safety building, an Evidence Building, a Pavilion, and infrastructure. Estimated Construction cost is $70 - $80 million. The Visalia Civic Center Project, Phase 2 will be subject to Public Works Contract requirements, state/federal requirements, Department of Industrial Relations registration, prevailing wages, and other requirements.
