25-007 - RFP 25-007 - Mobile Shower Unit Services

The core of this project is to provide access to hygiene services, entry/updates in the Homeless
Management Information System, referral for substance use screening, and referral for MediCal and
CalAIM services. The County would like to identify a local partner to obtain, operate, and maintain a
mobile hygiene unit offering services such as access to showers, toilets, laundry, and/or similar
amenities to assist those living on the streets, in shelters, or other places not fit for human habitation. If
mobile, this unit may also be tasked with responding to emergency situations causing people to
become unhoused such as through a natural disaster. This project blends two federal funding streams
across two fiscal years.
