Description

Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to
provide comprehensive services for the upcoming implementation of the California Community
Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Court program. The Community Assistance,
Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Court is a proposed framework aimed at delivering mental health
and substance use disorder services to severely impaired individuals who often suffer without access to
essential treatment. The CARE Court model connects appropriate, community-based services and
support. These services included court-ordered stabilization medications, wellness and recovery
support services, and assistance with social services and housing. The selected vendor will play a
crucial role in supporting individuals with schizophrenia spectrum or other psychotic disorders, ensuring
their well-being, and promoting self-determination while preserving community living.
