The Team of Consultants shall assist with expertise in graphical web design, frontend prototypes, information architecture, social media presentation, and general website design and development skills in order to satisfy MVA’s current and anticipated requests for enhanced website features and functionality that meets both internal and public-facing requirements. The team of Consultants shall assist in the coordination of business teams to deliberate on requirements for the website redesign. Consultants shall propose a new design and develop the visual prototype based on gathered requirements, existing site structure, and available content. It is anticipated that various enhancements may be identified and prioritized by the MVA throughout the course of this work order engagement. WordPress CMS will be the primary application solution for the design and development processed. A developed Integrated Development Environment (IDE), deployment framework, and User Interface (UI) pattern library will be established or used to serve both intranet and internet audiences protected by the County’s security infrastructure. All delivered websites are required to be in compliance with American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508 or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0/2.1. All delivered websites are also required to provide pleasant user experiences for popular browsers (such as MS Internet Explorer, MS Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), or viewing devices (such as desktops, laptops, iPads, iPhones, Androids, readers) using a responsive theme.
