Upon request, contractor shall provide “as needed” temporary staff to perform the following work: visual inspections of plants and plant parts, flowers, leaves, stalks and other plant material for signs of specific agricultural pest in any stage of life cycle or evidence of the pest/organism. Temporary staff should be able to collect and submit samples, place and inspect detection traps and other work such as, but not limited to, surveys, issue hold notices, compliance agreements and/or other associated documents and accurately record locations on maps or with GPS. Other work to be performed shall include setting traps and monitoring traps to detect the presence of the specific agricultural pest adults in the County of San Diego. The trap locations will be provided by the AWM staff and contractor’s staff shall inspect insect traps, plants, containers, growing field and surrounding areas for evidence of specific agricultural pests/organisms.
