Specifications include, but are not limited to: AIRPORTS requires engineering assistance on an as-needed basis to preform architectural, engineering, planning and related professional services at its eight (8) airports. All services and/or work described shall be performed by or under the supervision of qualified and/or certified personnel, as required. Examples of possible projects, services, or work include, but may not be limited to the following: • Airport Layout Plans and Design of Runways, Taxiways, General Aviation Aprons, and Airport Access Roads • Airport Master Plans • Taxiway Extensions • Pavement Evaluations and Preventative Maintenance including Overlay, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation • Airfield Lighting and Signage • Part 77 Evaluations • Airport Emergency Plans • Airport Certification Manuals • Helipad and Heliports • Airfield Vaults and Lighting Control • Siting and Installation of NAVAIDs • Feasibility Studies and Risk Analysis • Airport Minimum Standards, Rules, and Regulations • Federal and State Agency Permitting • Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&Es) • Noise Modeling • Value Engineering • Preparation of Federal and State Aviation Grant Applications and Administration • Construction Management, Inspection, and Quality Assurance • Airport Facility and Service Assessments • Ability to Obtain Subcontractors for Other Professional Services
