Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall: 1. Train youth for a career as an Automotive Technician. Help youth succeed professionally by delivering career-focused, industry-relevant courses. Provide in-person and virtual instruction that’s personalized, hands-on and focused on the skills Automotive Technician employers look for the most. 2. Provide a vocational counselor to work directly with each youth and help create a road map of classes each youth should complete to fulfill individual goals. 3. Assist with applying and completing Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application for each youth. 4. Offer a variety of vocational courses that allow youth to complete and earn an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certificate or industry-recognized equivalent. 5. Link vocational courses to employment upon release and assist youth with job placement. 6. Provide an adequate level of qualified personnel to provide educational services under this contract to the target population. 7. Provide vehicles, equipment, and tools needed to complete course work. 8. Be available to provide instruction between the hours of 3pm-8pm, working around facility needs/requirements (LME, dinner, etc.). If available, provide services throughout the weekend. 9. If an instructor cannot arrive within the appointed time, they shall call the Project Manager to inform them of the problem and the estimated time of arrival. a. If circumstances arise that prevent Contractor from providing services and Contractor is unable to secure a replacement, Contractor shall notify the Project Manager of the service cancellation, within 24 hours of the previously scheduled appointment.
