Neither the Electric and Water Divisions don’t have a preferred electric meter or water meter manufacture. Suppliers are requested to propose ultrasonic water meters. While a few Metron water meters might be retrofitted with the proposed AMI module, we are requesting a quotation on an 100% replacement of all water meters. Suppliers are required to bid on two electric meter manufacturers in the proposed solution but can quote costs for a single electric meter manufacture. Based on the following water meter information, Suppliers are requested to Optionally quote all new registers/encoders with their proposed water meters. The City now uses encoders and registers from the following vendors: • Badger: HR-E Encoders: Quantity 9,368 • Sensus: Omnis Registers: Quantity: 108 • Innov8 Registers: Quantity 236 • PMM Registers: Quantity 108 • Itron Registers: Quantity 58 This RFP requires a quotation for all new Ultrasonic water meters.
