A. The vendor will provide equestrian educational services including classes in riding and horsemanship. B. The vendor will provide classes coordinated through recreation centers where registration will take place (each a “Rec Center” and collectively “Rec Centers”), for an agreed upon number of students for an agreed upon number of sessions within each season of instruction. The number of students enrolled, the age ranges of students and the number of classes in a session will be provided in an invitation to bid. Classes will not be divided by age group but by skill level as determined by the vendor. Each class will be for a minimum of seventy-five minutes unless otherwise stated in the invitation to bid. C. Classes will include riding lessons in the vendor’s arena with instructor and several assistants provided by the vendor. Each child will have their own horse, and will learn how to lead, mount and dismount, correct riding position, and to control the horse while walking and trotting and any other related instruction. The vendor will provide all necessary gear for use in the classes including riding boots and helmets. The vendor will provide one coach for every five participants. D. The vendor will host a culminating event at an agreed upon date at the end of each season showcasing the students’ progress in the class. E. Classes are expected to begin for the first season of services from January 8, 2025. The dates for the remaining seasons will be provided in invitations to bid prior to the dates that the services will take place.
