The project consists of converting the existing analog CCTV security system at the Blythe Police Department to an updated High Definition (HD) digital system that meets the City’s and the Police Department’s needs. The project includes the installation of 18 HD quality security cameras (12 exterior and 6 interior cameras) with mounting hardware, HD quality recording and storage equipment for the cameras, 2 HD quality 50-inch flat screen monitors for viewing in real time and/or viewing recorded content, needed software, cabling and other infrastructure, warranty, and a maintenance agreement in accordance with all provisions within the specifications. The maintenance agreement shall include a term of three years, necessary cleaning, adjustments, checking of wiring, annual overall complete system inspection test and repair or replacement of any defective or exhausted parts. The City will have the option to extend the maintenance agreement after the initial term. The system should be a locally hosted Closed Circuit video surveillance system with a minimum camera resolution of 1280x720 pixels at 30FPS. Cameras should continuously record on a 30-day loop.
