Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Identify Federal and State broadband funding opportunities regarding infrastructure, devices, community anchor institutions, and public access. Project opportunities could be identified by the County’s broadband plans, FCC fabric map, and the BEAD map. The County is interested in partnering with other local organizations for funding opportunities. 2.2 Coordinate and assist the County in applying for funding opportunities. Including editorial assistance with the narrative and constructing a prospective budget. This will include the State Digital Equity Grant opportunity. 2.3 Engaging with outside entities, including ISPs, applying for and implementing broadband grant funding in Lake County. Assist the County in representing local residents and businesses needs and interests to these applicants. 2.4 Assist the County with the administration of grant(s), if it directly receives broadband grant funding, so that all criteria are met.
