Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. Contractor shall provide a minimum of twenty-four classes each fiscal year at library branches determined to have the highest need for a Citizenship Instructor. 1.2. Contractor shall provide a training on immigration services to SDCL staff at least once a year. The staff training can 1.3. Contractor shall offer naturalization eligibility screenings and naturalization application filing at no cost. This must be conducted by a DOJ-accredited Immigration Specialist. Screenings can be offered in person, by phone, or at a naturalization application workshop. Support can be offered as a part of the class schedule or as a regional event. 1.4. Contractor shall provide and use evidence-based curriculum and assessment tools approved by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. 1.5. Contractor shall provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to library staff and adult learners. 1.6. Contractor shall provide Citizenship eligibility screenings at all 10-week Citizenship classes and provide free support with application filing or refer to another source. Support can be offered virtually, in person, or at a regional special event for naturalization help.
