Specifications include, but are not limited to: providing Composting and Organics Diversion Outreach and Assistance Services (“Offerors”). ; Contractor shall implement composting and organics diversion related educational services and programs for the unincorporated area of San Diego County (County). Residents and businesses in the unincorporated areas of the County dispose of nearly half a million tons of waste per year, most of which are disposed of in landfills located throughout the County. Since organic materials compose approximately two-thirds of the region's waste stream, increasing diversion of organic materials would give the region additional years of landfill capacity. ; 1. Administrative costs, including monthly report writing, staff meetings etc., shall not exceed 10% of the monthly billing. The County will not pay for any contractor staff reviewing or revising the work of another contractor staff or subcontractor for duplicative work or work that does not meet the guidelines set forth in this document.
