Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Riverside Purchasing, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office (RSO), Corrections Division, seeks competitive bids for car wash and bus detailing services for law enforcement vehicles as detailed in Exhibit “A” Scope of Service, on pages 8-10 on this Request for Quote (RFQ) to support the function and operation at five of the correctional facilities. 2.2 RSO is the fourth largest in California, covering 7,300 square miles. The Corrections Division operates five adult facilities and maintains over 4,500 inmate beds county-wide. The five correctional facilities are Blythe Jail, Cois M. Byrd Detention Center (CBDC), John J. Benoit Detention Center (JBDC), Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility (SCF), and Robert Presley Correctional Facility (RPDC). Law enforcement and emergency response vehicles equipped with antennas and high light bars requiring washing include sedans, full-size SUVs, pickup trucks, and full-size passenger vans. In addition, the Corrections Division has a fleet of 13 inmate buses.
