Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services to be rendered pursuant to this IFB consist, in general, of plowing and de-icing of various County Service Area (CSA) and Permanent Road Division (PRD) roads. Unit costs shown in the “Bid Form,” of this IFB shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, and for doing all the work involved in snow removal and de-icing, as specified in this IFB. All operations shall be conducted in such a manner as to provide reasonable protection to the paved roadway section, ditches, culverts, private driveways and other public and private property and provide access to the CSA/PRD for emergency services personnel. Only CSA and PRD roads will be plowed and sanded (not private driveways). Driveway berms should be minimized as much as reasonably possible. The County reserves the right to modify the scope of work, including the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to entirely delete any item or portion of any work, or to require extra work as deemed by the County to be necessary or advisable. Any such changes will be set forth in a Contract Change Order.
