The California Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), collectively referred to as State, invites you to review and welcomes proposals for cafeteria space located in the Ronald M. George Complex (RMGC), aka San Francisco Civic Center at 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, San Francisco County, California. • The cafeteria will provide food service for, but not limited to, state employees, Judicial Council of California, and building guests. • The cafeteria is comprised of a kitchen and service area which measures ±4,242 square feet (SF) and a non-exclusive dining area ±4,014 SF. • The State is seeking a qualified cafeteria provider (referred to as the awarded bidder) to provide a variety of healthy, fresh and nutritious food options and excellent customer service. Food service and cafe operations could include, but are not limited to: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, beverages, grab-n-go food, online ordering, catering and special events. At no time will alcoholic beverages be served during the daily cafeteria operation. The awarded bidder must maintain high level customer service and prioritize DGS’ satisfaction with food quality, pricing, menu selection, and catering services.
