Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Santa Ana is soliciting proposals from a limited number of qualified firms for business consulting and technical services related to the planning, design, development, construction, deployment and marketing of a city-wide telecommunications and broadband networks utilizing Fiber-Optic technology and related infrastructure (the “Network”). The CITY intends the Network to be a fee-producing project in accordance with California Government Code section 5956 et seq. and the successful Respondent will assist the CITY with the planning and business consulting services described herein, up to and including the development and negotiation of a Memorandum of Understanding or some other contractual arrangement with a qualified vendor that will oversee the Project planning, construction and deployment, and management (Optional) of the Network.
