Specifications include, but are not limited to: This process will result in a CAAP that details a prioritized set of equitable climate actions with specific implementation roadmaps that guide the City’s climate action over the coming years. A clear roadmap is critical for the City successfully take steps to be climate-ready, carbon-neutral and emissions resilient by 2050. Resilience should be addressed within the CAAP in accordance with SB-379. This CAAP will also seek to empower residents to carry out community-level action in support of Seaside’s climate goals. The CAAP shall be reader friendly and “tell the story” of climate mitigation and adaptation strategies to be implemented by heavily employing the use of data visualizations and graphic design. The CAAP should include procedures for minor updates every two years and comprehensive reviews every five years. The scope of work for the Consultant team shall consist of the following tasks, which the City may modify in collaboration with the selected Consultant. All activities will be undertaken in close coordination with the City of Seaside.
