Specifications include, but are not limited to: service provider for the supply of food services and operations to the CDPH Richmond Facility. State is seeking a coffee bar operator that: a. Is committed to providing affordable heathy food options. b. Provides a menu that incorporates the cuisine representative of the surrounding area and Sacramento’s “Farm to Fork” reputation. c. Has the option and ability for catered services upon approval of DOR. d. Who may be interested in providing a rewards/loyalty program that includes perks for future purchases, such as, but not limited to, buy 5 cups of coffee, get one free, as an example. e. Provides professional and hospitable services within a pleasant environment. f. Establishes and maintains control over all aspects of the foodservice operation. g. Works closely with CDPH Richmond Facility staff to resolve all issues quickly and effectively. h. Utilize the Coffee Bar to its fullest capacity. Terms: 1) Rent: Include in the bid the dollar amount per month you would pay for coffee bar; be advised the rent includes utilities. 2) Profits: Contractor shall keep all profits 3) The coffee bar is required to be open at least 5 days a week no later than 6:30 a.m. and close no earlier than 4:00 p.m. (except for all official State and Federal holidays). The coffee bar may open after hours and weekends, hours to be negotiated with the facility manager. 4) All contractor’s staff handling food shall obtain safe food handling certificates prior to their first day of work.
