Highly interactive peer-to-peer outreach tactics, including but not limited to facilitating peer-to-peer conversations that allow for highly customized information sharing; delivering technical assistance to support access to public services; conducting door-to-door canvassing, canvassing at community events, phone banking, and text-banking. Educational/awareness raising outreach tactics, including but not limited hosting in-person and/or virtual events, workshops, and information sessions; posting information and resources on social media. Culturally and linguistically relevant outreach, including but not limited to developing culturally and linguistically diverse educational materials; providing interpretation and translation services; providing interactive engagements in the primary languages of the target population(s) in target geography identified by the State. Community navigation/assistance services, including but not limited to providing direct technical assistance to community members to assist them with accessing and applying to State resources (e.g. vaccine appointment, rebate applications). Serve as a convener, including but not limited to facilitating a group of people to perform strategic analysis and action planning to leverage resources within a specific service area. Training, including by not limited to providing education, talking points and promising practices to community workers, ambassadors, navigators, promotors and other local trusted messengers with the goal of equipping them to successfully deliver peer-to-peer outreach and education to community members and motivate changes in behavior. Business support/technical assistance, including but not limited to providing technical assistance to other Community Based Organizations around project management, financial analysis, and budget monitoring. Data analysis and monitoring, including but not limited to developing and facilitating focus groups, surveys, needs assessment; participating in research, design, data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings; utilize data to make decisions on geographic area or audience to reach. The following may be forms of data utilized: Census data, Social Vulnerability Index, California Hard-to Count Index, Vaccine Equity Metric. Reporting, including but not limited to progress reports, interim reports, and final reports related to outreach and financial activities. Format and cadence of reporting will be provided by the user agency.
