The County is requesting proposals from qualified concession entities (Proposers) to operate a concession in Building No. 14 which must include providing all materials, furnishings, and sales/service items and daily operations and maintenance of the concession. Concession theme must be relevant to Calico Ghost Town Regional Park and must not directly interfere with pre-existing concessions. o Building No. 14, consists of approximately 1,410 square feet of commercial real estate and currently provides items such as Calico newspapers, historical books, baseball caps, key chains, plaques, pins, pens, pencils, magnets, penny stamp machine, and a quarter stamp machine. o The concession can be any shop relevant to Calico that does not interfere with other concessions and their inventory items. The Regional Parks Department believes that well-managed, affordable, quality concession experiences and amenities that support a recreational experience is a valuable service to our guests and will attract new visitors while contributing to the financial stability of Regional Park operations. The County intends to select amongst the qualified Proposers to enter into a single concession agreement that will result in high-quality operations which will bring revenue to the County.
